3. Introduce the scripture, story, or quote. Keep it down to just one or two scriptures, or a story, or a quote, you don't have time for all three.
    A. Introduce Scripture: First give reference and let everyone look it up. Then provide a brief explanation of who is speaking, who they are speaking to, and what is going on in the story before we read the scripture. You might also say, "Look for ..." for example
    B. Introduce Story: Explain where you found the story (the source). Then explain the important parts of the story we need to understand that you're leaving out.
    C. Introduce Quote: Explain who is speaking, and--if you know--where they spoke and what makes them famous.
4. Read or have someone read a scripture, quote or story.
5. Questions about Reading. Ask questions about what we just read to find out if your audience understood. For example:
"What is that saying."
"What does that mean?"
"What is going on here?"
"What do you think about that."
"What does that tell us about [topic]"
6. Your say. Say why you picked this scripture/quote/story, how it relates to your topic, what it means to you.
7. Comments. "Are there any comments?"
8. Wrap-up. Say one sentence that repeats the importance of your topic.
9. Close. Before anyone can say anything else, close, "In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen" and wait for everyone else to say Amen.
10. Last: look to the person conducting and say something like, "That's it."
