Sunday Night News

Jenny is getting married May 7. She will be getting her endowment the day ahead, because she didn't want Jeb to walk her though the short ceremony but the real thing. "We couldn't talk her out of it," said Kathy. If she gets her endowment out more than 7 days before the wedding the its the short ceremony. In order to work out all these dates at such short notice they'll be married in the St George temple and not the Draper (I think that the one newly dedicated last week). As of Sunday the announcements were purchased and waiting to be mailed. "Use a sponge" recommended Grandma. Jeb's father is a psychologist at a private school for troubled boys there in Cedar. Jeb is planning to becaome an optometrist, and hopes that soon optometrists will be licensed to perform corrective laser surgery. He will live in Alaska, he's been upfront with Jenny about that from the beginning. Everyone agreed they could see Jenny in Alaska. They don't yet have a place to live after they're married, but they are on several waiting lists. They're thinking about going on a honeymoon to San Diego and we discussed airfar vs driving (SW has a deal right now: $49 to San Diego).

Baby Axel's naming adventure. And the weather in Pittsburgh.

Blain and Amy's soon arrival. Aunt Kathy recommended that I have Amy call for Bear Lake reservations if they think they will make it. "The fairy godmother is gone, now, you're on your own."

Diane is giving the Easter Talk in her ward. Its a difficult topic. Aunt Kathy has also giving that talk. They already weren't planning to go to St George, because Joanna can make it here, but not all the way to St. George. Aunt Kathy is going to St. George.

While Jeff housesat he had several dinners with Dianne, one which Kahty and Barbara attended as well. Many comments about how pleasant Jeff is, and a nice fellow. "I told him, keep taking your meds, its making a world of difference" said Aunt Kathy.

And other topics, perhaps Kathy can fill us in at the comments.

Unanswered questions:
How did I get Jeff's bike from the airport to the house in my Mini, but didn't want to repeat it to return?
Are Mom and Dad really coming home in September?
How cold does it get in Kumumoto?

Kumamoto gets below freezing here, but not much. All plans at present are to arrive around the end of September. And how DID you get Jeff's bike into the mini?

I'll tell the bike story in my next blog entry.
